Christmas is All Around

Although the Bay Area hasn’t been pounded by snow storms as the East Coast is, we’re still getting a fair share of precipitation.  The rain hasn’t been too hardcore as of yet, more of a light and bearable drizzle.  Everything smells so fresh outside – delicious, clean earth smell.

I couldn’t help notice how beautiful everything looked after the rain has fallen.  I whipped out my camera and took a few shots while I was on my way out of the house –

For Christmas this year, my uncle cut down this massive (8ftish) tree that has grown in their backyard for a decade now.  It was too big to bring into the house, so it’s been sitting outside on the porch area with extremely minimalistic decor; only lights and a few plastic ornaments.

No snow, but the raindrops look equally beautiful!
