Wasteland Adventures

February 4, 2011 § 2 Comments

I went to visit my friend Will, who is out in Central Valley. We explored some abandoned boxcars and here is what we saw:

abandoned boxcars adorned with graffiti

crossing tracks.

dilapidated interiors

Abandoned boxcars are eerie. Or, I guess anything abandoned is eerie since they still retain the characteristics of their former life but in such a sad state. It’s weird to think that this cabin was once busy and full of life, brimming with conversation and the anticipation of visiting new places.

These abandoned tracks beared a stark contrast to the fertile farming grounds surrounding it.
